The 2015 Singapore Summer Camp


From August 4th to the 9th, 2015, No.8 sent a delegation made up of seven teachers and 11 students to take part in this year's summer camp in Singapore.


On the first day, the students visited the campuses of the Anglo-Chinese School in Singapore and the Methodist Girls' School.Our school students were paired up with Singapore students and  together they had classes and joined various exchange activities organized by the school. The teachers and students also visited Singapore's night safari.


On the second day, which coincided with the 50th anniversary of the founding of Singapore, the students had the opportunity to participate in the national day celebration held by the Anglo-Chinese Independent High School. During the celebration, parents personally awarded medals of honor for their children and the pride shined on their faces left a deep impression on everyone. In the afternoon, the teachers and students visited downtown Singapore.

On the third day, the teachers and students visited Holland village near school and also visited the universal studios theme park in Sentosa. In the evening,both the teachers and students  attended the concert for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of Singapore.


On the fourth day, the teachers and students visited Sentosa aquarium and orchard road.


The summer camp activities and the hospitality of the Singapore school leaders and students  left a good and deep impression on everyone.
